We welcome junior beginners of all ages and provide lessons for learners from the age of 4. We will supply you with clubs to use in the lessons so there is no need to own your own set before you start to learn. We have years of experience in helping people to learn the game. Golf can sometimes be a daunting sport to start playing. We explain the basic rules and etiquette that will stand you in good stead and help you to feel relaxed and informed on the golf course. You won’t be left wondering where to stand and when it’s your turn to hit and what club you should use or any of the other typical problems that make beginners nervous in a golfing environment.
We are also specialists in helping you to learn a basic swing and good fundamentals from the start. Our coaching style is visual and simple. We will help you to make the most of your natural ability in a fun and relaxed environment from the beginning. Starting from 4 years and older our aim at the Institute is to provide a fun and informative learning environment for juniors which is essential in the learning experience. Our junior programs all ensure that the player has a good understanding of rules, etiquette, scoring and course management whilst improving their swing. We welcome all level of junior whether they are just beginning or out there playing and want to improve or play more events. All our coaches are experienced in providing every level of Junior with the knowledge and skill to perform at any level. The academy has various tiers to the Junior school which ensures all level and age of player is accommodated and creates a desire for improvement from beginner to elite.

Learning to Play – Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD)
Classes are made up of 4-10 kids with each class supervised and coached by a PGA Professional. Our aim is to provide a Play element to learning the game which will encourage muscle memory as well as add a FUN element to every session. There are different levels for each child so that there is always a target and goal to aim for. This will ensure we provide a future plan for each child and hopefully start nurturing our future stars. The Learn to play section includes the following Key Golfing componants, Grip, Stance, Balance, Swing, Scoring, Etiquette along with covering the various aspects of the game. We also introduce mental skill using imagery and confident behavior.
Players go through regular assessments and are placed on our Achievement board which helps encourage improvement and encourage development of their game.

Snag Golf – Just starting out. Age -4-7 years
SNAG® contains all the elements of golf but in a modified form. The game has its own simplified rules and terminology that adds fun to the learning and playing experience. Falling somewhere between miniature golf and regulation golf, SNAG® allows for full shots, pitching, chipping, and putting. SNAG® is also a training program for beginners’ fun. It’s a comprehensive system that has been developed through years of research and field experience. The key is in simplifying the instruction so that it can be an effective transition into the game of golf.

Training to Play
Classes are made up of 6-10 kids with each class supervised and coached by a PGA Professional. This is a more advance program for players with an official handicap. The sessions include more involved skill levels and training drills. The program will cover all components of the swing with video analysis being very relevant in the player’s progress and success. Other areas that will be included will be: Mental management, course planning, performance monitoring and fitness.
